China's UnionPay and several commercial banks have launched Mobile QuickPass, a unified mobile app for China's banking industry. UnionPay is accelerating the promotion of UnionPay QR code payment in markets outside mainland China to create more use cases for Mobile QuickPass and is building a model area in Southeast Asia.

The mobile QuickPass is accepted at 680,000 PoS terminals across 16 countries and regions outside mainland China, including Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Russia.
UnionPay mobile QuickPass supports Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Huawei Pay and MI Pay.
